Acquisition
Picked up the 635 from a private seller in Portland. Drives but runs rough — fuel smell at idle, temp gauge climbing faster than it should. Compression test next.

Cooling System Teardown
Pulled the radiator, expansion tank, and all hoses. The original plastic expansion tank had a hairline crack along the seam — classic E24 failure. Ordered an aluminium replacement and full hose kit.

Fuel System Inspection
Traced the fuel smell to a cracked injector O-ring on cylinder 4. Pulled all six injectors for ultrasonic cleaning and new seals. Fuel accumulator is also weeping — sourcing a replacement.
